Top 10 Pokemon Types

Pokemon is one of my favourite games to play. When Pokemon are used to battle most trainers I see  have certain types that they like so I thought I might as well count down my top 10 favourite types of Pokemon.

10) Fighting

Fighting type are brilliant however they are weak against Flying and Psychic type attacks making it number 10 on my list.

09) Fire

Fire types have always been my starter choices (except in Diamond and Pearl) since Ruby and Sapphire. Fire however is weak against Water and Ground type attacks.

08) Steel

Steel is in most of my favourite Pokemon. If it is in Lucario, Excadrill or even Magneton Steel is still weak against Fire and Fighting attacks.

07) Grass

Grass Pokemon have always been the type of Pokemon I seem to catch first no matter if I encounter any others. Grass is weak to Fire and Poison attacks.

06) Flying

Flying Types allow you to go anywhere using the HM Fly. This is the only reason I own flying Pokemon. Flying is weak to Rock and Ice type attacks.

05) Ground
My favourite legendary is a Ground type Pokemon, that being Groundon. Ground types are weak to Water and Grass attacks.

04) Rock

These type of Pokemon annoyed me when in the caves, however have pretty good use when they are super effective against Flying type Pokemon. Rock still has its weaknesses, especially when those weaknesses are Water and Fighting type attacks.

03) Psychic

Psychic is one of my favourite types, the first Pokemon I had liked was a Psychic type. Psychic types, however, are weak to Ghost and Bug attacks.

02) Ghost
Ghosts might not be able to hit Normal Pokemon and the same happens vice versa. This means that Normal moves are useless against Ghost Pokemon. However, they are weak against Dark type and their own type moves.

Honourable Mention) Electric
Electric Pokemon truly shock me. They have the one weakness to ground but thier very small moveset is what makes it my honourable mention.

 01) Dragon
Dragon might have its weaknesses to Ice and Fairy attacks, they are also weak to thier own attacks. It is the fact that this typing is based off of a mythical creature is why it is my favourite Pokemon.

Make sure to check out the Pokemon Database. Without this website I wouldn't be able to know the type weaknesses.

3 Secrets you probably didn't know about in Super Mario Maker

Super Mario Maker allows you to create, edit and share your own levels, however, there are some secrets in Super Mario Maker that most of you didn't know about. Here is 3 secrets about Super Mario Maker that you might not have known about.

03) Checkpoints

You might be thinking "Why are you saying checkpoints. They aren't in the game." Well actually they are. If you shake the arrow while in edit mode it will turn into a checkpoint.

02) Skinny Mario

If you keep tapping on a door in edit mode you will be able to see Skinny Mario in all sorts of power-ups. He even might swing on the door.

01) Super Wario Maker

Most of you will know about these Easter Eggs, but my favourite is Super Wario Maker. This happens when you tap on Mario's 'M' in the title screen. This will cause the 'M' to turn upside down, causing it to turn into a 'W' therefore spelling Super Wario Maker.

Make sure to checkout GameXplains videos on these three secrets because I wouldn't of known about them if I hadn't watched their videos.

Top 10 Super Mario games

Mario has some pretty amazing games. These range from the classic 2-D Side Scrollers to the modern 3-D Free Roamers. I am going to count down my top 10 favourite Super Mario games.

10) Super Mario Bros.

Super Mario bros. is where it all started for Mario. this is the first Mario game I played and it got me hooked into the Mario games.

09) New Super Mario Bros. DS

This is the 2nd DS game I had. this has got to be one of my most played games in the franchise.

08) New Super Mario Bros. U

This game got me wanting the Wii U, although, I don't currently own a Wii U, I still love this game.

07) Super Mario Sunshine

Played this game and loved it from the start. Even though I got 5% through and didn't know what to do afterwards.

06) Super Mario 3-D World

Another game that makes me want a Wii U. The fact that Peach is a playable character insted of a non-playable character (NPC) is why it is on my list.

05) Super Mario Galaxy 2

Jumping from planet to planet, using different powerups and being able to ride Yoshi. Another game I got hooked into.

04) Super Mario Galaxy

This is the 1st mario game I played on the Wii. This game had a load of features that the 2nd one didn't. Hell they even let Luigi a chance to shine in the stars.

03) Super Mario 64 DS

The 1st game I ever had on a DS. It is also the first game I had seen where you could play as Yoshi instead of riding him.

02) Super Mario World

The best game when looking at the sprite and game mechanics. I have loved to speedrun this game.

Honourable Mention) Super Mario Bros. 3

Super Mario Bros. started Mario's, Princess saving set of games. This game perfected them.

01) Super Mario Maker

The block breaking, princess saving, plumber is back and it is up to you to create courses for Mario to overcome. This is the main reason I want a Wii U.

5 Facts you probably didn't know about Redstone.

Redstone is an amazing feature of Minecraft. You might know about the basics however there is more that you might not know about redstone. Here is 5 facts about redstone that you might not know.

5) Redstone cannot power certain blocks

Redstone cannot transport a signal through certain blocks like glass, glowstone and pistons.

4) Repeaters can be locked

Repeaters facing into the side of another repeater will lock the repeater. This is an amazing RS NOR Latch.

3)  Comparators can take an output through certain blocks

The comparator can take outputs through certain blocks. This is similar to the redstone not powering certain blocks fact. Using this you can create furnace, chests or dropper traps.

2) Redstone can be placed on glowstone, hoppers and upside down half slabs.

With glowstone being a transparent block and being able to have redstone placed on them makes it super useful when making redstone travel upwards.

Redstone ore emmits a light level of 9. This is useful for map makers.

My Top 10 Favorite Redstone Circuits.

Redstone has many amazing things about them and redstone circuits is 1 of them, therefore, I will be counting down my top 10 favourite redstone circuits.

10) Redstone Clock

The redstone clock lets you make a pulse repeat over and over again. This is really useful when making farms and generators automatic.

09) RS NOR Latch

The RS NOR Latch lets you take 2 inputs to create 2 outputs. This can be used for one way doors

08) Rising Edge Monostable Circuit

The single edge monostable circuit lets you create a one tick output. This can be used to create another circuit that will appear on this list.

07) Duel Edge Monostable Circuit

The duel edge monostable circuit gives an output  but double ticks the redstone. This can be used for dispensing buckets without flicking the lever twice. This makes it useful for ice farms.

06) AND Gates

AND Gates let you take an output when both input A AND input B are on, if one of the inputs are off the output will be off and if both are off the output will be off. This is useful when making combination locks.

05) NAND Gate

NAND Gates let you take an output if both input A AND input B are NOT on. Combine this with an AND Gate and you will have the perfect combination lock.

04) OR Gate

OR Gates lets you take an output when input A OR input B is on.
Redstone Logic Gates: Mastering the Fundamental Building Blocks for Creating In-Game Machines

03) Item Filter

Item Filters let you filter out items. This is used in mass storage systems.

02) T-Flip Flop

A T-Flip Flop is like a lever but it uses a button. Remember the monostable circuit from number 08. if you use one of them it will cause a sticky piston to spit out their block causing the block to stay in the extended position.

Honourable Mention) Automatic Droppers

The automatic dropper (or auto dropper as I like to call it) drops out items automatically without you powering it. this is useful when making item elevators.

01) Block Swappers

Block swappers do what it says on the tin. These are useful for making quick block swapping and my favourite hidden crafting tables.
