Top 5 Ghost Type Pokemon

I recently covered what my top 5 favorite Dragon type Pokemon are and as you might recall my second favorite type is Ghost type Pokemon. So here is a list of my top 5 Ghost type Pokemon.


First some rules to lay down:
  • No Legendary Pokemon
  • No Mega Evolutions

5) Yamask

Yamask is known as the Spirit Pokemon. Its Pokedex entry in Pokemon X states "These Pokemon arose from the spirits of people interred in graves. Each retains memories of its former life." and in Pokemon Y states "Each of them carries a mask that used to be its face when it was human. Sometimes they look at it and cry."

4) Dusclops

 Dusclops is known as the Beckon Pokemon. Its Pokedex entry in Pokemon X states "Anyone who dares peer into its body to see its spectral ball of fire will have their spirit stolen away." and in Pokemon Y states "Its body is hollow. It is said that those who look into its body are sucked into the void."

3) Banette

 Banette is known as the Marionette Pokemon. It's Pokedex entry in Pokemon X states "A doll that became a Pokemon over its grudge from being junked. It seeks the child that disowned it." and in Pokemon Y states "Strong feelings of hatred turned a puppet into a Pokemon. If it opens its mouth, its cursed energy escapes."

2) Gengar

 Gengar is known as the Shadow Pokemon. Its Pokedex entry in Pokemon X states "It hides in shadows. It is said that if Gengar is hiding, it cools the area by nearly 10 degrees Fahrenheit." and in Pokemon Y states "Hiding in people’s shadows at night, it absorbs their heat. The chill it causes makes the victims shake."

Honorable Mention) Sableye

 Sableye is known as the Darkness Pokemon. Its Pokedex entry in Pokemon X states "It hides in the darkness of caves. Its diet of gems has transformed its eyes into gemstones." and in Pokemon Y states "It dwells in the darkness of caves. It uses its sharp claws to dig up gems to nourish itself."

1) Chandelure

 Chandelure is known as the Luring Pokemon. Its Pokedex entry in Pokemon X states "Being consumed in Chandelure’s flame burns up the spirit, leaving the body behind." and in Pokemon Y states "The spirits burned up in its ominous flame lose their way and wander this world forever."

Top 5 Dragon Pokemon

You might know that Dragon type Pokemon are my favorite type of Pokemon but I want to count down my top 5 Dragon type Pokemon.






First Some Rules to lay down.
  • No Mega Evolutions.
  • No Legendary Pokemon.

05) Dratini
Dratini is know as the Dragon Pokemon. It's Pokedex entry in Pokemon X states; "It is called the “Mirage Pokémon” because so few have seen it. Its shed skin has been found." and in Pokemon Y states; "This Pokémon is full of life energy. It continually sheds its skin and grows steadily larger."

04) Garchomp
Garchomp is known as the Mach Pokemon. It's Pokedex entry in Pokemon X states; "When it folds up its body and extends its wings, it looks like a jet plane. It flies at sonic speed." and in Pokemon Y states; "It flies at speeds equal to a jet fighter plane. It never allows its prey to escape."

03) Goodra
Goodra is known as the Dragoon Pokemon. It's Pokedex entry in Pokemon X states; "This very friendly Dragon-type Pokémon will hug its beloved Trainer, leaving that Trainer covered in sticky slime." and in Pokemon Y states; "It attacks with retractable horns. It throws a punch that’s the equivalent of the force of a hundred pro boxers."

02) Hydreigon
Hydreigon is known as the Brutal Pokemon. It's Pokedex entry in Pokemon X states; "The heads on their arms do not have brains. They use all three heads to consume and destroy everything." and in Pokemon Y states; "It responds to movement by attacking. This scary, three-headed Pokémon devours everything in its path!"

Honourable Mention) Flygon
Flygon is known as the Mystic Pokemon. It's Pokedex entry in Pokemon X states; "It hides itself by kicking up desert sand with its wings. Red covers shield its eyes from sand." and in Pokemon Y states; "Known as “The Desert Spirit,” this Pokémon hides in the sandstorms it causes by beating its wings."

01) Haxorus
Haxorus is known as the Axe Jaw Pokemon. It's Pokedex entry in Pokemon X states; "They are kind but can be relentless when defending territory. They challenge foes with tusks that can cut steel." and in Pokemon Y states; "Their sturdy tusks will stay sharp even if used to cut steel beams. These Pokémon are covered in hard armour."

Top 10 Favourite Pokeballs

The features of Pokemon include; fighting, trading and catching Pokemon, but what do you use to catch Pokemon, Pokeballs, and some work differently to others. I'm going to count down my top 10 Pokeballs.



10) Quick Ball
The Quick Ball gives you a higher catch rate when thrown at the start of a battle.































































09) Repeat Ball
The Repeat Ball gives you higher catch rate if you've already registered that Pokemon in your Pokedex.






























































08) Timer Ball
The Timer Ball gives you a higher catch rate the longer the battle goes on.





























































07) Level Ball
The Level Ball makes it easier to catch Pokemon that are a lower level than your own.




























































06) Dusk Ball
The Dusk Ball has a higher catch rate when thrown in a cave or dark area.





























































05) Heal Ball
The Heal Ball, heals the Pokemon that has been caught in it. It also removes status effects.































































04) Net Ball
The Net Ball has a higher catch rate when you throw it at Bug and Water type Pokemon.


























































03) Lure Ball
The Lure Ball has a higher catch rate on Pokemon encountered when fishing.

























































02) Master Ball
The Master Ball catches Pokemon without fail. But you might be wondering "why is the Master Ball not your favourite. You can catch Pokemon without fail." I will tell you why. The Master Ball isn't my favourite because it is too OP.


















































Honourable Mention) Ultra Ball
The Ultra Ball has a higher catch rate than the Great Ball which as higher catch rate than a normal Pokeball.

The Luxury Ball makes any Pokemon caught in it more friendly quicker.
